Depends what you mean by successful! Journaling is a very personal thing, my opinion is successful = personal I would say don’t compare yourself just work on your own thing your own way if you are passionate about it and you keep at it your own style will grow and develop. Having a personal style and enjoying the work is how I gauge my own success.
